Cost & Financial Aid

Hudson Lab Ventures programs operate within local, regional, and global contexts. Some programs are supported by local and regional partners, allowing for ecosystem-supported tuition in certain locations. Students who are based in Portugal or elsewhere in the EU may be eligible for ecosystem-supported tuition where applicable. These tuition levels are made possible through partnerships with local institutions, municipal support, and regional sponsors. In Portugal, Portuguese students enroll directly through our local partner, Unicorn Factory Lisboa. Tuition and payment processes for Portuguese students are managed separately through that partnership. Students who travel internationally to attend Hudson Lab Ventures programs enroll through our Global Track, which aligns with comparable international education programs. Tuition varies by location, program length, and enrollment track. Details for each program are outlined on the relevant location pages.

Admissions & Application Fees

Admission to Hudson Lab Ventures is selective. We review each application carefully to build a thoughtful, collaborative cohort. For two-week programs, a non-refundable application fee is required as part of the application process.

• $45 for applications submitted on or before February 28

• $60 for applications submitted on March 1 or later

The application for our new one-week program is $35 before February 28 and $50 after. We aim to make our programs accessible to students from a wide range of backgrounds. Application fee waivers are available for families for whom the fee would be a barrier.

Financial Aid

Hudson Lab Ventures offers limited, need-based financial aid for families for whom tuition would otherwise be a barrier to participation. Financial aid decisions take into account demonstrated financial need, program location, enrollment track, and available funding for a given cohort. Families interested in financial aid should indicate this on the application. Aid availability varies by program and cannot be guaranteed.

Referrals & Friends Enrollment

Hudson Lab Ventures values its community and recognizes the role that current and former students play in shaping each cohort.

Alumni Referrals

Alumni may earn tuition credits or cash rewards based on the number of students they refer. Referral rewards apply across Hudson Lab Ventures programs and are shared directly with alumni.

Friends Enrollment

Some students choose to apply with a friend. When two friends apply and enroll together, each student may receive a 10% credit towards tuition up to a maximum of $250 tuition credit. Friends Enrollment Credit apply to pairs only, are limited to one friend per student, and cannot be combined with alumni referral credits. Friends enrollment credits are applied once enrollment is confirmed. Friends credits must be identified at the time of application, are non-transferable and not applied retroactively, and do not affect financial aid decisions.
